A driver's education course is tentatively scheduled to start after February vacation. If you did not sign the interest sheet outside of the school office, please call (x256), email, or see Melanie Breton in the adult education office. More info to be announced next week.
HS Student Council
HS Student Council members will have meetings on Tuesday and Thursday next week (2/9 & 2/11) to discuss Winter Carnival Events. They will be at 2:35pm in the learning lab. Everyone needs to be present. If you have a previous commitment, you must see Mrs. Hamilton BEFORE you go to that commitment. Thank you.
Yearbook members--we will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 10th at 2:35pm. Send pictures to Mrs. Hanson. They will need to be uploaded BEFORE the meeting. Any questions - stop in the office.
The State Board of Education is looking for student members. If you are interested, stop by the Guidance Office and pick up an application and information packet. Applications are due on February 22.

Summer Opportunities -
**Harvard has a summer school program - every summer more than 2000 motivated high school students from around the world are selected to attend Harvard Summer School and experience life. If you are interested - stop by the Guidance Office and pick up application material.
**Bezos Scholars Program - Aspen Institute in Aspen Colorado - is a power packed week of seminars and informal meetings with global leaders - application deadline is February 16 - Stop by the Guidance Office for more information.

**Ski team had their final home meet this past Saturday. Girls--Brianna top finisher in Slalom, Shelby top finish in Giant Slalom. Boys Slalom--Anthony-2nd place, Alec-3rd place, Tom-5th place, Jarvis-8th place, Parker-11th place, John-12th place, Keegan-21st place, Boys Giant Slalom--Anthony-2nd place, John-3rd place, Alec-4th place, Parker-5th place, Jarvis-8th place, Tom-9th place, Keegan-20th place. GHS team placed 1st overall in Giant Slalom.
