  FastWeb for Maine Students
“The Maine legislature passed a law in June 2009 that bans collecting personal information from Maine residents under age 18. This has the unintended consequence of preventing many Maine high school students (and college freshmen) from registering on free scholarship matching web sites like FastWeb. Students who indicate that they are from Maine and are under age 18 will not be permitted to register on FastWeb until the Maine legislature repeals the legislation. The Maine legislature will be reconsidering the legislation in early 2010.

In the meantime we have made available a list of selected Maine-specific scholarships at  www.fastweb.com/mainescholarships.
Registration is not required to look at this list of scholarships.”
