We believe our schools should provide a safe and inviting environment in which:
- Student opinions and class ideas are sought and respected and their differences and unique abilities are nurtured.
- Each individual is encouraged to be well-rounded, striving to achieve academic, athletic, and artistic excellence, as well as developing a social conscience.
- Students are encouraged to be life-long, self-motivated learners inside and outside of the classroom. They should be able to work, independently with confidence and also effectively in groups.
- Each individual learns to make responsible decisions and to take responsibility for his/her decisions and actions.
- Parents are welcome and encouraged to participate in the school's activities and programs.
- There is a mutual respect among parents, teachers, students, and community members. This respect is enhanced by the knowledge of each other's positions, issues, desires and needs.
