Greenville School Department


Greenville High School students may particiate in a number of team sports including:
  • Soccer and Golf in the Fall.
  • Basketball and Ski-Team in the Winter.
  • Baseball, Softball, and Track & Field in the Spring.

Around the campus, both residents, non-residents, and students use the many sports facilities available such as the Tennis Courts, Skateboard/RollerBlade Park, Ice-Rink, RollerBlade Oval, Soccer and Baseball fields, as well as the outdoor Basketball and Sand Volleyball courts.

Greenville Schools believes that they have a responsibility to teach, to promote, and to model good sportsmanship in all co-corricular activities. Good sportsmanship is a visible demonstration of an individual's ethical behavior and personal integrity. It is a commitment to fair play, graciousness towards an opponent, and a genuine concern and respect for others.

To participate in co-curricular activities at Greenville Schools:

  • A student must be enrolled in the Greenville School System.
  • A student must be under 20 years of age.
  • Students must complete 4-one-credit courses each quarter.
  • A student can only play 4 years of any sport.
  • The penalty to a team that uses an ineligble athlete in team sports is automatic forfeiture of all contests played.
