Full-Time Grant Position

PREK-GRADE 12 AIDE

Summary of Position:

The PreK-Grade 12 Aide is responsible for providing support to students and staff in a diverse

educational setting. The aide will assist with various duties and may also serve as a substitute teacher

when required. This role requires a patient, compassionate, and dedicated individual with excellent

communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities may include:

• Classroom Support

• Administrative Support

• Substitute Teaching

• Student Supervision during non-instructional times - for example, breakfast and lunch duties

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and

students.

• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting student learning and development.

• Ability to follow instructions, multitask, and prioritize responsibilities.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

• Knowledge of basic computer skills and educational technology is a plus.

Working Conditions:

The PreK-Grade 12 Aide will typically work during school hours. The role may involve standing, walking,

and occasionally lifting or moving school materials. The aide may also be required to work in various

environments, both indoors and outdoors, during school events or activities.
