Congratulations to our varsity boys basketball team on a trilling come from behind 44-40 win against PCHS last night. Liam Mason was named player of the game by Eastern Maine Sports with 25 points and 10 rebounds. The Lakers played great as a team and got strong performances from Ocean Turner and Ethan Brown. Our lady Lakers came out slow and went down 23-0 in the first quarter but really fought to turn things around and played the Pirates evenly for the final 3 quarters. The girls team continues to show improvement despite playing with only 6 girls last night. We are thankful for our 8th grade athletes who have played at both levels this year and ensure our varsity program continues. Both middle school girls and boys teams lost at home to PCMS but as always they played hard to the end and never quit on themselves. Continue to put in the work teams!
