Just a reminder to parents of students in grades 5-8 who will be skiing with Mr. Shaw tomorrow, 1/26. If you wish for your student to remain at the mountain beyond the time that the bus leaves at 2:10pm, Mr. Shaw will need written permission, good for tomorrow’s trip only. Thank you.

Absolutely thrilled with our fantastic Fab 5 Spellers! This tight-knit group of 6th graders has been a source of support for one another throughout the preparation for our school bee. Their camaraderie doesn't end there; they continue to uplift each other with friendship beyond the competition and are all looking forward to making the trek down to Bowdoin College in March for the Scripps State Spelling Bee!!

Congratulations to our middle school girls basketball team on their victory over PCMS last night to secure a spot on the championship game on Saturday 1/20. Our girls will now take on Stearns in Howland at 11:00 on Saturday 1/20. We would love to pack the gym to support our Lakers! In order to accommodate players, coaches and fans for this game we have moved our start times for the home varsity games that day to 2:30 and 4:00. The boys will also now play first. This was the best we could do given all schools and officials tight schedules in the last weeks of the season.

Good evening Laker fans! Update on our middle school basketball season. Unfortunately our boys finished their season outside of the playoff picture and their season has come to and end. I would like to thank Coach Josh Polland and Assistant Adam Parish for their efforts this season. The boys showed remarkable improvement each and every game and they all should be very proud! Our middle school girls finished in a very close race for the top seeds and ultimately came away with the #3 seed. This means a trip to Guilford on Wednesday 1/17 at 3:30 for a chance to play in the Championship game on Saturday 1/20. Please make the trip to Guilford if you can and support our girls as they make a run at the championship! This would probably also be a good time to let all fans know that should we make it to the championship game it will be played in Howland on Saturday 1/20 (11:00 am). This is pre-determined prior to the season beginning and is played there regardless of the two teams playing in the big game. Thank you! and GO LAKERS!
