🎨✨ Little Lakers Creators Art Festival! ✨🎨

Our school was buzzing with creativity during the Little Lakers Creators Art Festival —a day made possible through the vision and dedication of Mrs. Colleen Edmondson, who raised funds and gathered parent volunteers and community support to create a day full of hands-on art and creativity for our students!
Students spent the day immersed in visual and performing arts, including:
🎣 Fly tying
🌈 Tie dye
🏡 Fairy house building on the school trails
🎨 Rock painting
🧘‍♂️ Yoga
🐦 Suet and pine cone bird feeder making
🧺 Basket weaving
📸 Photography scavenger hunt
🌲 AMC Nature Mobile making
🛶 Boat building
🩰 An interactive folk dancing finale

Thank you to all of the local artists and experts who shared their time and talents to provide enriching workshops for our Little Lakers. It was a wonderfully enriching day that allowed our students to explore, create, and discover new interests!

The home varsity game against Telstar has been re-scheduled. Please keep in mind that per the MPA the game has to be re-played and that the last date to make that happen is by June 5th. With that said our varsity baseball team will travel to Mason field (MCI) in Pittsfield on Monday 6/2 for a 12:00 pm game vs. Telstar. At the completion of that game our team will then travel to Howland for their 4:00 pm game that was already scheduled. While I know this is certainly not optimal, in order to avoid losing a couple of seasons due to potential sanctions we had to make the game up and this was our only option. As always I appreciate your support for our student athletes. Go Lakers!
