Last night was a great night of basketball on our home court! The lady Lakers battled from start to finish and although they fell short on the scoreboard the improvement this team has made shows in every game! Keep up the hard work ladies! The Lakers were led by Lakely St. Jean with 12. Maddie Clukey and Katie Hanson each chipped in with 6.
The boys fought hard from the opening tip and never trailed in the game to pull off a well deserved upset over the Forest Hills Tigers, 52-47. The Lakers were led by Liam Mason with 23 and Landon Theriault with 22, including 6 baskets from 3 point range! Ethan Brown finished off the scoring with 7. Like the lady Lakers, these boys continue to work hard and show incredible improvement. These are fun teams to watch and I encourage all fans to get out to these games and pack our gym! We were also treated to two halftime scrimmages by our up and comping basketball starts in the Rec programs. Thank you to all who came out, our gym was rocking with Laker pride last night!
Up next is a trip to the Cross Center in Bangor to take on Bangor Christian on Saturday 1/18.

Hello basketball fans! We have a great evening of varsity basketball tonight starting at 5 pm. We also have a special halftime show planned for each game! Our 5/6 and 3/4 Rec teams will showcase their talent with a 5 minute scrimmage at halftime of each game. You won't want to miss the promising future of Greenville basketball! Come out and cheer on all of our student athletes!

Congratulations to our varsity boys basketball team on a trilling come from behind 44-40 win against PCHS last night. Liam Mason was named player of the game by Eastern Maine Sports with 25 points and 10 rebounds. The Lakers played great as a team and got strong performances from Ocean Turner and Ethan Brown.
Our lady Lakers came out slow and went down 23-0 in the first quarter but really fought to turn things around and played the Pirates evenly for the final 3 quarters. The girls team continues to show improvement despite playing with only 6 girls last night. We are thankful for our 8th grade athletes who have played at both levels this year and ensure our varsity program continues.
Both middle school girls and boys teams lost at home to PCMS but as always they played hard to the end and never quit on themselves. Continue to put in the work teams!
